Become a Volunteer Driver in Tamworth

If you want to be more active in the community, why not volunteer to drive and care for the elderly? Oxley Community Transport Service Inc is a non-profit organisation looking for people to donate their valuable time to be drivers in Tamworth, Werris Creek, Manilla, Barraba and Quirindi.

Minibus Drivers

We have a fully accessible minibus and need drivers to help community groups to get to and from their activities. Minibus drivers must be more than 21 years of age and hold a full driver’s license.

Community Car Drivers

You can use our service vehicles or your own to assist our clients in travelling to medical appointments or shopping trips. For those using their own vehicle, we will reimburse at a per kilometre rate.

Passenger Assistants

Our passenger assistants are just as important as our drivers. They help look after our clients during each trip, as well as assist them to carry anything to their door after the trip.
